Major Gregory W. Fritz graduated with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. Greg received his Masters in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas. He was a navigator with the 325th Bomb Squadron in Fairchild AFB, WA and then with the C-130 in the 61st Airlift Squadron at Little Rock AFB, AR. From 1997 to 1999, he was selected into the Phoenix Hawk Intern Program, Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, IL. Greg was a member of the Air Force’s 15th Special Operations Squadron in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Hurlburt AFB as a navigator on the MC-130H Talon II aircraft. He served two tours in Afghanistan and was a member of those first deployed in Enduring Freedom. Major Greg Fritz personal medals include the Meritorious Service Medal, four USAF Air Medals, the Aerial Achievement Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and two Air Force Achievement Medals, among many others. Major Greg Fritz is survived by his wife Veronica and his children Connor and Lauren. Veronica has not only participated in Special Ops Survivors programs, but has served as the Survivors Liaison and helped established the peer-to-peer mentorship program.
